If Hillary Clinton is elected and a draft occurs under her presidency should women go?

Stevens asked:
Women have won the right to vote, run for office, join the military and reap the benefits, receive financial aid and federal jobs. So if they win the right to presidency they would have won every right that a man has. So shouldnt they have to make the ultimate sacrifice that men who are over 18 have to make if a draft were to occur?

If thats becomes law, they would be required.
Hey, not all women wanted or want womens lib. Don’t put them all in one basket. Women should not be drafted! There will be an uprising if that happens! Women should not be endangered because there is a dragon at the helm
you will never see a draft in this country again, so dont rack your brains worrying about who would go.
I will be 40 shortly, and I have believed since I was 18 that women in the US should be required to register for the draft. I made that decision the day I went to the post office with some close friends (all male) and watched them fill out their papers.
It doesn’t matter who is at the helm, I believe that if we have to reinstate the draft for some reason, women should also go. As I said above, I have believed that for more than 20 years. I think that if we want all the rights men have, then that means we need to take the good and the bad. It’s fair. Besides, other countries have mandatory military service for both sexes, and there are very few things that a woman cannot do in the military. For example, the .30 caliber guns that were carried on patrols during Vietnam were usually given to the biggest guy in the platoon because they were so heavy. A woman probably couldn’t lug one around. However, we can do almost all the other stuff, and we should be given the opportunity to do so.
Yes I suppose so…I think that if there are children involved then one of the parents should be exempt from service. Not everyone has a family member who can take the children.
I don’t want our women fighting our wars.
